Welcome to the NCRC!
The North Central Regional Chapter (NCRC) of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI) was formed in 1972 when the Illinois State Police Captain Clyde Oliver, who was also IAATI’s secretary, petitioned for recognition as a regional chapter.
Today, our members come from local state and federal law enforcement as well as insurance companies and related fields with the common goal of suppressing vehicle theft and related crimes. The NCRC officers, executive board, and various committee members are all elected from the general membership and are professionals from all aspects of the auto theft investigative field.
Currently, the NCRC draws its membership from the Mid-Western United States and the Canadian Provinces of Ontario and Manitoba.
